On March the 8th, 2019 (also International Women’s Day) we debated socialisation, social mobility, and the impact of such dynamics on self identity at the TATE Modern, London. The segment was part of a broader arts residency entitled Beta Society running from the 4th to the 10th of March, 2019. The debate with the public (which included Dr Javeria Shah and our hosted artist Rachelle Romeo)  considered issues of social mobility, and socialisation within the context of broader media, education and policy rhetoric – and lived experience.
